How do I install this update?

  You need to be logged in as root to install this update.

  For FreeBSD and Linux, do the following:

    download D5003.004.tar.gz and place in the directory /usr/X11R6/lib/X11

    unix-prompt> cd /usr/X11R6/lib/X11
    unix-prompt> tar xvzf D5003.004.tar.gz
    unix-prompt> rm AcceleratedX/boards/.Xaccel.cache
    unix-prompt> rm AcceleratedX/monitors/.Xaccel.cache

    at this point, you may wish to (re)run Xsetup -text to
    (re)configure your graphics board/chipset and monitor.

    Please start or re-start your X server for the changes to take
    effect.

  For Solaris do the following:

    download D5003.004.tar.Z
    place D5003.004.tar.Z in the directory /usr/openwin/lib
    unix-prompt> cd /usr/openwin/lib

    unix-prompt> uncompress D5003.004.tar.Z
    unix-prompt> tar xvf D5003.004.tar
    unix-prompt> rm AcceleratedX/boards/.Xaccel.cache
    unix-prompt> rm AcceleratedX/monitors/.Xaccel.cache

    at this point, you may wish to (re)run Xsetup -text to
    (re)configure your graphics board/chipset and monitor.

    Please start or re-start your X server for the changes to take
    effect.
